Urgent Medical Cases

Crush

Crush was transferred to us from Gaston County Animal Control. She was found in a Walmart parking lot with a broken and swollen foot. She had an open wound on her paw that was infested with maggots. Luckily she is in very good spirits despite her injury. Crush may require amputation of her leg if her leg does not heal well.

Cessna

Cessna was brought intp Veterinary Emergency Group on Memorial Day by a Char-Meck police officer. She was found abandoned in a park with horribly infected wounds infested with maggots. We suspect she was hit by a car and has been on her own in the elements for awhile. Cessna will need extensive wound repair, daily bandage changes, and possibly an amputation if her leg does not heal.

Welcome to Stevie's Saviors Inc.

Our Story

Mariah and Kayli are originally from Upstate New York (Go Orange!!!), and relocated to the Charlotte area with our Chocolate Lab Harper, Pitbull mix Teegan, and our two cats Hudson and Phineas.

They both attended the State University of New York at Canton to pursue their degrees in Veterinary Technology and are licensed Veterinary Technicians in both New York and North Carolina. They have over 10+ years working in the Veterinary community, from general practice, emergency medicine, specialty, and even large animal! Mariah currently manages a veterinary practice in Pineville, NC and Kayli works at a veterinary emergency hospital in Charlotte, NC. Our mission at Stevie's Saviors Inc. is to speak for the voiceless, and give second-chance animals a first-class loving home.

Our Inspiration

Our beloved Stevie Girl appeared in our lives out of the blue a little over a year ago. She was our first introduction into the issue with feral cats in our community but this girl was far from your typical feral kitty. She immediately chose us as her people, and gave us all the love she had left. We lost our poor Stevie in July 2023 and we decided to carry on her legacy by continuing to better the lives of cats and kittens just like our girl. Prior to establishing our organization, we have helped save the lives of over 50+ cats and dogs over the years from abuse, neglect and/or stray. The video is our story of why we founded Stevie's Saviors Inc.

Our Impact

We believe that every organization should be judged by how well it achieves its mission. Transparency is the key, and we upload report for our animal statistics and lifesaving percentage. Although we strive for 100% lives saved, a small number of our transfers come from local emergency groups. They are generally in very critical condition and are often beyond our ability to be saved despite our efforts.
